We’re thrilled to invite new and current Bellevue College staff and faculty to a unique communication training workshop! This session is designed to enhance communication skills, foster teamwork, and boost collaboration—all through the creative use of Play-Doh.
Workshop Overview
This interactive workshop will include hands-on activities and discussions aligned with Bellevue College’s Core Competency on Communication Effectiveness. Participants will gain practical strategies to elevate team communication and collaboration.
Learning Objectives:
- Communicate Effectively: Learn how to enhance communication within your team.
- Apply Teamwork Strategies: Discover ways to implement teamwork strategies in the workplace.
- Understand Collaboration: Grasp the importance of collaboration for successful outcomes.
Course Details:
- Skill Development for Professional Growth: Improve your communication skills, such as listening, asking questions, and engaging with your team.
- Interactive Engagement: Participate in dynamic group activities using Play-Doh and engage in discussions that highlight teamwork and collaboration.
Facilitator: Jenelle Dalit, our Human Resources Training Specialist, will lead this session. With over nine years of HR experience, Jenelle has conducted both in-person and virtual training for high school and technical college manufacturing interns at The Boeing Company, focusing on communication, teamwork, and collaboration. She’s excited to bring her expertise to Bellevue College for her first in-person training session.
