Bellevue College’s Staff Professional Development (PD) Committee is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help shape our upcoming Professional Development Day, set for Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
What is the Professional Development Committee?
The Staff PD Committee is a dynamic group comprising Classified Staff, Exempt Staff, and Human Resources. Our mission is to design and deliver an enriching professional development day that benefits all Bellevue College staff members. This event is a cornerstone of our commitment to fostering continuous learning and growth within our community.

What’s the Commitment?
The time commitment for the Staff PD Committee is manageable and flexible. Here’s what to expect:
• Monthly Meetings: From September to December, you’ll participate in monthly meetings to plan and prepare for the event.
• Increased Meetings Pre-Event: As the event date approaches in March, meetings will become more frequent to ensure everything is in place.
• Overall Time Commitment: Approximately 3 to 4 hours of work per month, making it easy to balance with your existing responsibilities.
