Learn about colonialism and global influences on Philippine identity, indigeneity, and nationalism. Gain an understanding of Filipino migration to the United States and globally as we explore Filipinos: Forgotten Asian Americans (Cordova 1983). Additionally, hear about local places, people, platforms, and events significant to the Filipino American community right here in Washington State (Andresen 2024).
