The Classified Council is continuing its work on the Food Service Options & Challenges goal by trialing a Carpool Lunch Program this summer. With limited food options on campus, this program offers BC employees more lunch choices and a chance to build community and network with colleagues.
Currently Seeking Carpool Lunch Drivers!
If you regularly visit off-campus restaurants at least once a week and have an empty seat in your vehicle, consider joining the carpool lunch program as a driver. Here’s what you need to know:
- Admin Rights: Drivers will be given admin rights to the MS Bookings page.
- Scheduling: Drivers will choose their hour time slot and restaurant.
- Calendar Management: Drivers will manage their own calendar and time-off periods from the program.
- Vehicle Requirements: Drivers need a vehicle that can accommodate 1-3 passengers.
- Meet-Up Location: Drivers will choose their meet-up location for passengers.
- Timing: Ideally, the program will be set up by the second week of summer quarter, but new drivers can join at any time.
