The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) on campus will be hosting a number of events during the year, and we want to make sure all military-affiliated staff and faculty on campus are kept in the know. If you or someone you know is a veteran, and you’re interested in being notified of any events on campus, please submit your name to the VRC.
Beginning in January, the VRC started hosting a monthly “Coffee Hour”, where we bring in a different organization or resource, specifically for our military-affiliated students and staff.
Some of the prior speakers include:
– WA Dept. of Veterans Affairs
– Federal Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Readiness & Employment
– American Legion, Redmond Post 161
– Center for Career Connections
We’re also working on inviting a number of other organizations, such as VA health care, volunteer organizations, housing resources, etc.
