Earth Month Tobacco Free Workshop, Today

This workshop will look ahead at how City Colleges of San Francisco and other Bay Area institutions achieved a smoke and vape-free environment. Lunch provided. Students, staff, and faculty are welcome.

While a recent policy proposal to make BC a smoke-free campus did not succeed, this workshop will look ahead at how City College of San Francisco and other Bay Area institutions achieved a smoke and vape-free environment. This Earth Month, attend this lunch & learn workshop with Bob Gordon, emeritus at San Francisco Tobacco Free Coalition and LGBT Tobacco Education Partnership.

When: Wednesday, April 17, 1:30-2:30 p.m. “waste audit” to follow weather permitting.
Where: B-102 classroom
Who: Sponsored by Truth Initiative, Student Environmental Sustainability Fund, and Breathe Easy Bellevue.
Why: Expert speaker, student leaders focus on education and support of tobacco cessation and the environment at BC, now and in the years ahead.
