Do you like writing poems? Like to draw? Just intrigued by the idea of haiku as a visual form?

If you answered yes to any of the above, come to a Haiku Comics Zine workshop and coffeehouse with comic-book artist David Lasky. David is the co-author of the graphic novels The Carter Family: Don’t Forget This Song and Oregon Trail: Road to Destiny, and maker of comic books such as Manifesto Items, Urban Hipster, and many others.

In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn how to write a haiku and then draw it in comics-panel form, creating your own haiku comic as a folded zine.

Supplies provided. No experience necessary. All skill levels are welcome!

When? Wednesday April 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
