The Who/What/When/Why/Where:

Who? College employees interested in working on a team to make recommendations to President’s Cabinet on issues of strategic planning, priorities, and community improvement for student and employee success.

What? BC Governance 2024-2025, where campus community members gather in councils to accomplish good governance. Join a council for a three-year term.

Where? See current BC Governance members and council structure here.

When? Twice a month, usually afternoons, hybrid meetings and follow-up proposal discussions.

When? Now, start fall quarter – Ready?

Nominate yourself or a colleague for Classified, Faculty, or Exempt Council March 21-April 19.

Constituency Council Open seats (vacancies subject to minor changes):
Classified Council – 2 at large, 1 WPEA, 1 WFSE seats.
Exempt Council – 3-4 at large seats.
Faculty Council – 2 Arts & Humanities, 2-3 Social Science, 1 Science, 1 HSEWI, 1 Business & Tech, 1 Workforce, 1 Counseling seats.

Nominate yourself or a colleague for appointment by Constituency Council(s) in the following open seats on Functional Councils (vacancies subject to minor changes):
Infrastructure: 2 faculty, 1 classified (grounds).
Resources & Planning: 2 program chairs, 2 classified, 1 exempt.
Inclusion & Diversity: 1-2 faculty, 1 classified.
Student Success: 2 faculty, 1 classified, 2 exempt.
BRAC (Budget Review Advisory Committee): 1-2 Classified, 1 Exempt

Individuals will be contacted about their nominations for all positions prior to voting/appointment.
