A friendly reminder for minimizing pests in our campus interiors.
More Information:
Pests, such as flies, ants, cockroaches and rats are a workplace nuisance. They are attracted to food that has been left out or inside of desks/cabinets/etc. in our offices and shared areas. To help prevent pests, please remember to:
• Take food and beverages home with you.
• Clean food residue from counters and tables after eating.
• Regularly clear out food from fridges and cabinets.
• Avoid disposing of food waste down sinks (which can also clog pipes).
• Empty office self-monitored mini-max garbage cans in central office cans for waste removal by our hardworking custodial staff.
If you notice pests in your work area, please submit a Request Center ticket to Campus Operations, and the Grounds Department will respond promptly.
