DEI Advocates are screening committee members; they have authority within the screening process and work closely with HR and the Chair of the screening committee for an equitable search.

Why Take the DEI Advocate Training?
The training is one step towards recognizing true cultural change and understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion needs of the College. All DEI Advocates will be able to demonstrate an active involvement in creating an equitable and inclusive campus community; recruiting, retaining and developing a diverse community; and developing and/or contributing to workplace and/or teaching environment that supports the College commitments to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
