The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) on campus will be hosting a number of events during the year, and we want to make sure all military-affiliated staff and faculty on campus are kept in the know! If you or someone you know is a veteran, and you’re interested in being notified of any events on campus, please submit your name to the VRC.
Starting in January, the VRC will be hosting a monthly “Coffee Hour” from 10 -11 a.m., where we’ll be bringing in a different organization or resource, specifically for our military-affiliated students and staff.
Some of the upcoming speakers include:
– Jan. 22: WA Department of Veterans Affairs
– Feb. 20: Veteran Readiness & Employment
– Mar. 11: American Legion, Redmond Post 161
We’re also working on a number of other organizations, such as VA health care, volunteer organizations, career support, housing resources, etc.
