Join us on Tuesday Nov. 28, 4-7 p.m. in Art Gallery D271 (right above the library) for the opening reception of artist Von Coffin’s exhibition “Hey Anna, this is Lucy. Do you want to have a barbecue tonight? I prepared seafood and beef, apple pie and juice.” This is just the title and there will be no food served.
This exhibition of brand new work by artist Von Coffin includes a bright pink, six-foot-long, carved foam rotisserie chicken skeleton, several large and small paintings, big glowing rubber maggots, and some very slick minimalist sculpture.
