The Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion’s Social Justice Center invites you to facilitate a “Chat & Chew” Equity and Inclusion informational Series for faculty, staff, and students. “Chat & Chew” sessions are designed to provide greater insight into areas that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and engage the campus in thoughtful conversations; we talk, listen, and learn from one another. The sessions are usually 1 to 1 ½ hours between 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Here are some of the “Chat & Chew” offerings from 2022/2023:
• Equity Reads
• Restorative Justice Practice
• A discussion on Equity, Social Justice, and Climate Change: “Fostering the Campus Culture We Want”
• Chat and Chew/Schmooze and Nosh
