More Information:

On Friday, May 26 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., the nursing program will be running a mass casualty simulation for nursing and allied health students. Live actors, real police officers and cinematic special effects will be on campus to create a realistic environment. Emergency room trauma management skills will be put to the test.

Stop the Blood Training, will be run by the King County Sheriff’s Department. Contact Jesse Herrera at 206-571-1925 for more information.

This training will enhance students’ life-saving abilities. This educational experience strengthens teamwork and practical skills, and future healthcare professionals will emerge better equipped to provide quality care.

For this simulation, volunteer acting roles are all filled, but if you would like to join the next mass casualty simulation in August 2023 as a volunteer actor, please reach out to April Ambalina at april.ambalina@bellevuecollege.edu. Thanks.

Please note, police vehicles will be on campus for this event. Please notify your students and other faculty that they are here for the mass casualty simulation.
