Second Round Nominations, BG Governance

Some seats still open for nomination: Faculty, Classified, and Students invited to self-nominate for a variety of positions.

Governance elections and appointments are quickly approaching this spring. If you’ve never served on a council before, check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page in BC Governance.

Specific roles include the following:

Second Round Nomination Form

  • Faculty Council: Two Arts & Humanities faculty, two Social Science faculty, two IBIT faculty, and two Continuing education/Workforce faculty members.
  • Classified Council: Five at-large, classified staff members (all classified positions and union representatives encouraged)
  • Council for Inclusion & Diversity(CID): One faculty member
  • Resources & Planning Council: (RPC)Two program chairs/faculty members, two classified staff members

Also needed – 9-10 students to serve on each functional council. Please nominate a student you know to serve on CID, RPC, Infrastructure (IC) and Student Success Council (SSC) (three students per council).
