Hello Bulldogs!

Here are some resources for you to get ready for the start of the quarter:

If you have had disability accommodations in the past and need them for Winter OR if you need to establish new accommodations set up, be sure to connect with the Disability Resource Center as soon as possible. Visit the DRC website to learn more and get started!

The TRIO – Student Support Services program is a wonderful resource for eligible students to access personalized advising, mentoring, tutoring and more. Visit the TRIO website to see if you qualify!

Are you in need of a reliable laptop? Bellevue College’s Associated Student Government & Student Affairs has a Laptop Loaner Program! Students should contact Student Business Center @ sbc@bellevuecollege.edu and request the laptop loaner agreement form. Students must be enrolled in Spring classes to be eligible for a laptop.

The Affordable Connectivity Plan helps eligible people receive discounted internet access and computer discounts. Please see the Affordable Connectivity Program Fact Sheet for more information on eligibility. Visit AffordableConnectivity.gov to submit an application. For more information, call 877-384-2575 or visit fcc.gov/ACP.

Additional technology resources can be found at BC COVID 19 Technology page.

Tax season is upon us and it’s time to get ready! Free tax help is available through the United Way of King County.

Don’t forget! April 10th is the refund deadline to receive 100% refund for dropped classes. If you are receiving Financial Aid or are a part of Running Start, International Education, Workforce Education, or Veteran’s Services speak with your advisor before making any schedule changes!

Don’t plan on taking a class anymore? You MUST withdraw yourself from the class; your instructor will not do it for you. To withdraw log into ctcLink. Need help? Watch these tutorials! REMEMBER: If you are receiving financial aid, are an international student, a running start student, or a workforce education student check with your advisor before dropping classes!

Finally, sometimes things happen that get in the way of you attending class, turning in work, or getting a good grade on an assignment. If so, you might notice that your instructor submits an Early Alert on your behalf. If this happens you are NOT in trouble, it just means we care! A representative from the Student Success & Retention team will reach out to you to check in, connect you to resources and encourage you!

We wish you a fantastic quarter!
