US-China Relations at Community Education

Spring courses for retirees, semi-retirees, and active seniors begin this April. Designed to focus on learning, growth, and fun – not performance. Check out our US-China Relations course and much more offered online or in-person now at main campus.

More Information:

US-China Relations will examine the cultural archetypes of both Americans and Chinese and how the differences in thinking and behavioral patterns have defined the historic paths of both nations. Students will also compare the two political systems and explore how they have profoundly impacted business, social change and geopolitics across the Pacific and globally. In addition, this course will focus on topics such as how COVID is transforming China and the world; the possibility of China taking Taiwan by force, and why the US and China turned from top trading partners to arch rivals in just a few years.
