The City of Bellevue is creating a comprehensive plan for the future. BC students, staff, and faculty are an important part of the community, and city staff want to hear our thoughts.
Officials will be available to answer questions and get input Tues., Feb. 28, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the C Building atrium.
There will also be two opportunities to hear a short presentation to learn more about the planning process and ask questions at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in C130A.
This is a great opportunity to help shape our future!

The City of Bellevue is growing and we need to make sure that the people who live, work, study, and play here enjoy a high quality of life. The city’s Comprehensive Plan is the tool that helps us prepare for the future. It outlines a vision for the future and provides directions for how to get there. Through the planning process, the community works with staff to explore the questions: “Who are we?”, “Where do we want to be?”, and “How will we get there?”
People are at the heart of planning and the Comprehensive Plan ensures that people can:
• Access a variety of housing options that are affordable to different income levels
• Get around safely and conveniently by walking, rolling, biking, driving, or taking transit
• Access to jobs and economic opportunity
• Enjoy parks and green space
• Feel welcome and included in all aspects of city life
Bellevue plans for people and that means we need to hear from you!
This event will include a drop-in open house where you can visit information stations and share feedback. Stop by any time, talk to city staff, and stay for as long as you’d like. There will also be two opportunities to hear a short presentation from city staff to learn more about the planning process and ask questions.
