Students can register for two new PE courses below for Winter quarter.
PE 240 Self-Defense ( Section B-LEC 6892) with instructor, Bradley Huggins
• Perform entire Wing Chun Kungfu form Siu Nim Tau
• Increase self-discipline, coordination & balance
• Discern legalities of a ‘self defense’ situation
• Evaluate individual strategies for personal safety
• Demonstrate fun and engaging partner drills
PE 194 Special Topics: Core Strength and Posture (Section A-Lab 19019) with instructor, Amy Swanson
Class Description: Introduces a blend of Pilates and traditional strength work using bands, weights, props, stretching, and body weight to condition the core. Students will learn about the core anatomy muscles and be led through workout routines for a lifetime of practical application.
