Event: What Happens to Your Ballot After You Vote?

Have you ever wondered how your ballot is processed and what keeps it secure? Come to C-120, on Main Campus, 10 -11 a.m. on October 27 to learn more directly from those making sure that your vote actually counts.

What: The Life of the Ballot: A Chat with King County Elections about How Your Vote is Counted and Secured

King County Elections is getting ready to process hundreds of thousands of ballots for the upcoming November 8 Election. Chief of Staff Kendall Hodson will provide an overview of the 2022 Midterm Election including ongoing hot topics like United States Postal Service concerns, security of ballot drop boxes and vote-by-mail, and what happens to your ballot as it goes through the process.

She will also talk about their challenge to King County voters to turn out in midterm elections and what you need to do to make sure your voice is heard this November. The RISE Learning Institute is providing promotional support for this civic event.
