Instructors! Don’t Forget to Submit Early Alerts!

Now is a critical time to submit an Early Alert. Read on to learn more!

More Information:

Dear Faculty,

Now is an important time to submit an Early Alert for students in your class if they meet one of the following criteria:

  • Never attending class/never logging on to Canvas
  • Missing classes/missed logging into Canvas
  • Missing assignments (especially if it is a chronic issue)
  • Poor performance on exams or quizzes

The Early Alert program provides support and resources for students demonstrating academic difficulty. Timely outreach by supportive staff occurs to connect students to resources and other supports specific to thier needs. To access the Early Alert form, a faculty guide and brief video tutorial please visit the Early Alert website.

Questions? Please join Melissa Martinez, Early Alert Coordinator, for virtual office hours on Mondays from 1-2 through the Faculty Commons (last office hour for the quarter is 10/17) OR send an email to melissae.martinez@bellevuecollege.edu.

Thank you!
