Achieving the Dream is looking for faculty members (PT or FT) to apply for the position of Faculty Professional Development Workgroup Co-Lead, compensated with one 5-credit release for Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters.

Main Job Responsibilities:
• Meet with Faculty PD Workgroup co-lead weekly (at least 1 hour/week)
– Plan workgroup meeting agenda
– Prepares for ATD meetings, as necessary
– Maintain Teams/One Note workgroup site
• Attend regular ATD meeting throughout the quarter
• Co-preside over workgroup meetings
• Provide accountability for breakout efforts of the workgroup (see focus areas below)
• Align work with Guided Pathways Workgroup
• Meet with college stakeholders (AVP of AA, VP of DEI, Faculty Council, etc.)
• Move forward with effort to embed Faculty PD in Academic Affairs
A qualified workgroup co-lead will be:
• A faculty member (adjunct or tenure, slight preference for adjunct for their often overlooked perspective).
• A strong advocate for equity (the core of our work)
• Reliable and consistent (for planning/attending meetings as well as getting tasks done)
• Experienced in both strategic thinking as well as determining logistics.
