The student trustee has the unique responsibility to bring a student voice and perspective to the Board and serves as an informational link between the trustees and members of the college community, particularly the students.

The BC Board of Trustees is seeking a Student Trustee for the 2022-2023 school year. You can be part of making decisions at the highest level here at BC.
Student Trustees are appointed by WA State Governor Jay Inslee. Student Trustees attend monthly BC board meetings and retreats (in person and online), and receive training, compensation for attendance at Board meetings, opportunities for paid travel, professional development, networking opportunities and professional connections in the Bellevue community – and so much more!
If selected as the Student Trustee, you will also be awarded a scholarship, in addition to the scholarship you are already receiving, for your service on the BC Board of Trustees. If selected, you will also receive a stipend of approximately $3,200 for the academic year (August through June) to cover attendance at meetings as well as pre-work and post-work for meetings. An opportunity like this is also an excellent addition to your resume as you apply for jobs in the future.
