Zines are part of activism and the climate justice movement! It’s a homemade publication that has no limits on content, style, voice, and everything else! In the workshop you’ll learn a brief history, see examples of climate justice-themed zines, learn how to make a zine, and start creating your very own!

Learn all the tips, tricks, and resources to have a fun, safe, and successful hiking or backpacking trip.

Repair What you Wear Workshop
1:30 – 2:20 p.m. (Room D106)
Learn how to mend clothes and textiles to keep them out of the landfill. Bring a few of your well-loved garments in need of simple repairs and you’ll learn the options and trendy sashiko techniques and techniques to mend them. All materials and tools are provided and the first 22 people will get to take home their own travel mending kit!
