Welcome back, Bulldogs! The Student Success & Retention Office hopes you have a fantastic Spring 2022 Quarter. Our office is committed to academic achievement and its priority is helping every student persist to graduation. We provide different academic support programs for students, one of which is Early Alert for Academic Support (Early Alert). If an instructor observes a student meeting one of the following criteria they may submit an Early Alert so that outreach can occur:
• Never attending class
• Missing classes/stopped logging into Canvas
• Missing assignments
• Poor performance on quizzes or exams
If you should receive a phone call regarding an Early Alert please know you are NOT in trouble; we are here to help! Check out our information and resources for students!
If things do not go as planned and you earn a grade point average (GPA) below 2.0 you will receive outreach from our Academic Probation Support program. Again, you are NOT in trouble! The focus of this program is to outreach to you and support you so you may recover and repair your GPA!
