Earth Week 2022!

Join the Office of Sustainability by attending Earth Week events on April 18-22. The week is filled with speakers, workshops, giveaways, and more!

Events are open to everyone and there is a mix of online (Zoom) and in-person sessions!

Some highlights for the week include:

April 18 (9:30 to 10:20 a.m.) – Zoom
Join a mini-panel with The Nature Conservancy and Climate Solutions for a conversation about the climate policy, advocacy, and environmental justice work of their respective organizations.

April 18 (10:30 to 11:20 a.m.) – D106
Learn how to make changes in your every day life to help the planet (making non-toxic cleaners, avoiding food waste, composting, and more). Resources, tool kits, and giveaways for the first 40 people.

April 19 (12:30 to 1:20 p.m.) – Zoom
Join a panel of different religions as they share their perspectives on Earth stewardship and climate justice to promote a better future for all.

April 20 (1:30 to 2:30 p.m.) – D106
Bring your well-loved garments and learn the tools and techniques to mend clothing and textiles in need of repair. Basic tools and materials provided.

April 22 (1:30 – 2:30 p.m.)
Join the BC Grounds Crew for a tour around campus that features all their environmentally friendly work, strategies, innovations, and practices. You’ll even get to see their greenhouse where they sustainably grow plant starts from seeds harvested on campus.
