Live Band In the Cafeteria – Monday, April 11

The Brazilian Club invites you to join them at the Cafeteria (C Building) Monday, April 11, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Bring your lunch and enjoy some live Brazilian music. There will also be performers presenting and free snacks (for students).

Join the Brazilian Club Monday, April 11, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the Cafeteria (C Building) for a FREE live Forró Band! There will also be demonstrations of Forró Dance.

100 students will receive free snacks, typical Brazilian snacks and Guarana soda.

What is Forró?

The term forró refers to a musical genre, a rhythm, a dance and the event itself where forró music is played and danced. Forró is an important party of the Northeastern Region of Brazil. Forró has gained widespread popularity in all regions of Brazil, especially during the Brazilian June Festivals. Forró has also become increasingly popular all over the world, with a well-established forró scene in Europe.
