Taking Action Through Greener Living Workshop

Monday, Apr. 18, 10:30 – 11:20 a.m.

The workshop will cover 5 easy, action items that everyone can do to make a difference locally and globally such as learning how to make your own non-toxic cleaners. Participants will receive take home tools and resources from the City of Bellevue (limited to first 40 people). Let us know if you are coming!

WC Challenge Course
Get centered and join Qi Gong instructor, Karen Joy Fletcher for her “Qi Gong with Trees” outdoor Earth-based meditation and movement class.

Repair What you Wear Workshop

Wednesday, Apr. 20, 1:30 – 2:20 p.m.

Learn how to mend clothes and textiles to keep them out of the landfill. Bring a few of your well-loved garments in need of simple repairs and you’ll learn the options and techniques to mend them. All materials and tools are provided.

Create for Change with making Zines!

Zines are part of activism and the climate justice movement! It’s a homemade publication that has no limits on content, style, voice, and everything else! In the workshop you’ll learn a brief history, see examples of climate justice-themed zines, learn how to make a zine, and start creating your very own.

Campus Tour with the BC Grounds Crew

Friday, Apr. 22, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Join the BC Grounds Crew for a tour around campus that features all their environmentally friendly work, strategies, innovations, and practices. You’ll even get to see their greenhouse where they sustainably grow plant starts from seeds harvested on campus.
