BC Men’s Basketball took second place in the 2022 NWAC Championships this year.

BC Men’s Basketball took second place in the 2022 NWAC Championships this year. The Bulldogs finished the regular season 19-7 overall and 9-5 in North Region league play. They entered the NWAC Championships (top 4 teams from each of the four regions qualify) as the #3 seed from the North. On March 17th in the first round, they beat the #2 seed from the South 82-78. On March 18th they beat the #4 seed from the East Spokane 65-60 to qualify for the Final 4 March 26 & 27.
In the Final 4 they beat the #1 overall ranked team Wenatchee Valley 84-76 to advance to the NWAC Championship on March 27. In the Championship game the Bulldogs held a 34-32 lead at half but in the second half the ball just wouldn’t go in the basket for them, and they eventually fell to Yakima Valley 57-70 to finish second overall in the NWAC Championships.
It was a great season for the BC Men’s Basketball team with a great group of young men who represent Bellevue College very well throughout the season.
