Taken from college policy 3010 Course Repeat
Students who wish to repeat a course to improve their skills , course grade, or grade point average (GPA) may ask that the lowest grade be removed from the GPA calculation using this form.
The college removes the lowest grade from the GPA calculation and inserts a repeat indicator next to the grade removed from the calculation. This means the lowest grade is still visible on the transcript, but is not included in the GPA calculation. This applies to courses that were repeated, but in which the grade earned was lower or equal to the original grade.
Please do not submit this form until the classes you list are visible on your transcript.
In Fall 2021, Bellevue College transitioned to ctcLink and repeat indicators are now routinely applied at the end of each quarter. Please only submit this form, if one of the class attempts was prior to Fall 2021. If you initially completed a class before Fall 2021 and then retook the class during or after Fall 2021 and received a higher grade, then you would submit this form to request a repeat indicator on the original class. However, if both your original class and the repeated attempt were taken after Fall 2021, then you do not need to submit this form; there is a process in place to have the repeat indicators applied automatically at the end of each quarter.
