OETA — Phase 1 Registration
Submitting this form begins a multi-step process — please read the following carefully so you know what to expect after you register.
What You Are Registering For
Phase 1 of the OETA consists of three asynchronous online courses plus an orientation course:
- OETA-00: OETA Program Overview & Badge Pathway (auto-enrolled, no additional work required)
- OETA-01: Canvas Procedures and Guidelines
- OETA-02: Canvas 101 — Teaching with Excellence
- OETA-03: Essential Components of a Quality Online Course
Total Hours: 14 | Delivery: Asynchronous Online | Completion Window: 2 quarters from your enrollment start date
What Happens After You Submit
Submitting this form does not immediately enroll you in the courses. Here is what happens next:
- Your registration triggers a stipend pre-approval process through the college’s administrative system.
- This process typically takes up to 7 business days, though scheduling factors may extend that timeline.
- Once pre-approval is complete, you will receive a notification confirming your enrollment in the Phase 1 courses along with your official start date and completion deadline.
Please do not attempt to begin coursework until you receive your enrollment confirmation.
About Your Stipend
Upon successful completion of all Phase 1 courses within your two-quarter window, you will receive a $600 stipend. Note: Stipend eligibility varies for some employee classifications. If you have questions about your eligibility, please contact oeta@bellevuecollege.edu before submitting this form.
