Here are resources to help us all better understand how bullying and domestic violence can show up in the workplace and how we can support ourselves and our teams.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>More Information:<\/h2>\n<p>This month\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/accounts\/WADES\/bulletins\/32f45a7\">Employee Newsletter<\/a> shares information about <a href=\"https:\/\/theconversation.com\/bullying-why-most-people-do-nothing-when-they-witness-it-and-how-to-take-action-181746\">workplace bullying<\/a> and what each of us can do about it, including resources to help us understand why most people don\u2019t intervene and the best ways to <a href=\"https:\/\/greatergood.berkeley.edu\/article\/item\/what_are_the_best_ways_to_prevent_bullying_in_schools\">prevent bullying in schools<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <a href=\"https:\/\/des.wa.gov\/services\/hr-finance\/washington-state-employee-assistance-program-eap\">EAP<\/a> is offering the following resources to support your wellbeing at home and at work:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/des.wa.gov\/services\/hr-finance\/washington-state-employee-assistance-program-eap\/webinars\">New EAP webinars about burnout<\/a>: In October and November, our EAP is offering two new webinars about burnout: &#8220;Breaking the Burnout Cycle&#8221; to support employees, and &#8220;Burnout for Leaders: Supporting Staff and Yourself&#8221; to support anyone in a leadership role. Webinar runtime is 60 minutes.
