Umoja Scholars Program is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 cohort.

Umoja Scholars Program is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic year. Umoja Scholars is a cohort program that provides a supportive learning community as well as critical resources dedicated to enhancing the cultural and educational experiences of Black, African American, and other students.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Academic advising to create an academic road map to achieve your goals
\n\u2022 Dedicated instructors with culturally relevant teaching practices
\n\u2022 Assistance with university transfer process
\n\u2022 Access to mental health counseling
\n\u2022 Mentoring opportunities
\n\u2022 Cultural events and activities<\/p>\n

Umoja Scholars enroll in at least one Umoja-designated course per quarter and participate in Umoja events throughout the academic year.<\/p>\n
