The Watchdog, BC’s Student Newspaper is looking for a copy editor! We are looking for a student who is a strong proof-reader with great attention to detail.
\n<\/p>\n
The Watchdog Copy Editor needs to be able to:
\n– Attend our mandatory remote meetings at 2:30 on Mondays. The meetings last from 20 min. to an hour.
\n– Is available for a maximum of 5 hours of remote copy editing (proof-reading) Wednesdays through
\nSundays, with most of the work taking place Wed., Thur. and Fri. afternoons and evenings.
\n– Is flexible and responsive – we work on tight deadlines.
\n– Has strong written English skills.
\n– Is legally able to work in the U.S.
\n– Is available to work during Summer Quarter and will be attending BC next fall.
\n– Is primarily interested in copy editing vs. reporting\/writing, at least for one quarter.<\/p>\n
The Watchdog student staff does not work the week before finals. Working during breaks between quarters is optional.<\/p>\n
