Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate themselves or a colleague to serve on a governance council this fall.<\/p>\n<p>Serving on a council provides opportunities to share perspectives, collaborate across departments, and help shape decisions that affect the college community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fall Governance Council Vacancies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following positions are available. Supervisor approval is required to serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Classified Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Two seats for representatives of the Washington Federation of State Employees (WFSE).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting Day:<\/strong> Thursdays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Exempt Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>One exempt staff seat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting Time:<\/strong> Wednesdays at 1 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Faculty Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Three adjunct faculty seats representing Arts &amp; Humanities, Connected Learning, and Student Affairs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting Time:<\/strong> Mondays at 3 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Council for Inclusion &amp; Diversity<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>One exempt staff seat and two classified staff seats.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting Time:<\/strong> Tuesdays at 3 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Student Success Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>One staff or faculty member appointed by the Office of Community Care and Institutional Transformation (contact the office for details).<\/li>\n<li>One staff or faculty member from Workforce Education or Benefits Hub.<\/li>\n<li>One exempt staff seat.<\/li>\n<li>One classified staff seat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting Time:<\/strong> Tuesdays at 2 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Infrastructure Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>One dean seat and two exempt staff seats.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Meeting Time:<\/strong> Thursdays at 2:30 PM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Participate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Review the available vacancies and submit a nomination for yourself or a colleague.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/r\/6Ts5SedSuB\">Use this link to submit a nomination for a Bellevue College governance council<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can&#8217;t Serve on a Council?
