Presenters have a background in labor organizing.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>More Information:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Bellevue College Unions Host \u201cBlood in the Machine\u201d Book Club<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Join Bellevue College faculty and classified staff for a quarter-long discussion of \u201cBlood in the Machine: The Origins of the Rebellion Against Big Tech\u201d by Brian Merchant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The book club will be facilitated by faculty and staff with backgrounds in labor organizing. Together, participants will explore labor history and consider what the rise of artificial intelligence means for workers today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>When:<\/strong> 11:30 AM-1 PM on five Tuesdays: Sept. 29; Oct. 6 and 20; and Nov. 3 and 17<br \/>\n<strong>Where:<\/strong> House 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Bring your lunch and join the conversation.
