Something special is happening at Staff Accessibility Office Hours this Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 12:30-2:30 PM via Teams.<\/p>\n
Join guest presenters Raechel Dawson, associate director of communications, and Steph McCarty, social media manager with Institutional Advancement, for a session on Accessibility for Social Media<\/strong>. They will share practical guidance for making social media content more accessible, from adding alt text to images to captioning video posts. These simple practices can make a meaningful difference for everyone in your audience.<\/p>\n If you manage or post to a Bellevue College social media account, share content on behalf of your department or want to learn how to make your posts more accessible, this session is for you.<\/p>\n The presentation and Q&A will take place from 12:30-1:30 PM. No appointment is needed. Stay for the full two hours for additional open accessibility support.<\/p>\n This is one of the final two themed sessions of the summer.
