We are looking for volunteers to help make this special event a success.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>More Information:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Volunteer for Japan Week\u2019s 10th Anniversary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Japan Week, Bellevue College\u2019s annual fall festival organized by students, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Volunteers are needed to help make this special event a success.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Volunteer Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Japan Week is recruiting:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>200 event volunteers to help with venue setup on the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 9, and during the event on Saturday, Oct. 10<\/li>\n<li>20 mikoshi, or portable shrine, carriers for the festival parade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Volunteers must be at least 15 years old by Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">High school students may receive a Volunteer\/Community Service Certificate documenting their volunteer hours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2026VolunteerForm\">Use this link to register to volunteer.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Volunteer T-Shirt Design Contest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Japan Week is also holding a contest to design this year\u2019s official volunteer T-shirt. The winning designer will receive a gift card and an official Japan Week volunteer T-shirt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Submit designs by 11:59 PM Monday, Aug. 31, 2026.
