Drivers should expect intermittent traffic delays on Snoqualmie River Road Aug. 5-7 while crews use a crane to remove equipment and materials from the roof.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>More Information:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Traffic Delays Expected on Snoqualmie River Road Aug. 5-7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and roofing replacement project on the north third of D Building is underway and progressing quickly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Drivers should expect intermittent traffic delays on Snoqualmie River Road Aug. 5-7 while crews use a crane to remove equipment and materials from the roof.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Important Project Updates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">A crane will be set up in Parking Lot C5 to remove rooftop HVAC units and other materials from D Building. Intermittent delays are expected during crane setup, equipment and material handling, and crane removal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Snoqualmie River Road will be reduced to one lane, and flaggers will direct traffic. Portions of Parking Lots C1 and C4 will also be closed to provide space for construction equipment and material storage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Drivers are encouraged to allow additional travel time or use alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>About the Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As part of a phased effort to improve HVAC systems across campus, Bellevue College is replacing HVAC equipment and roofing on the north third of D Building this summer and fall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Construction began in late June and is expected to continue through December or January. The north third of D Building and Parking Lot C5 will remain closed throughout the project.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Areas Affected<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>The Library will remain open. First- and second-floor areas north of the service desk will be closed for construction.<\/li>\n<li>Parking Lot C5 will be closed.<\/li>\n<li>A construction fence will surround the north end of D Building.<\/li>\n<li>The exterior tower restrooms will remain open whenever possible but may close intermittently during roofing work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Temporary Office Locations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Academic Success Center: N250<\/li>\n<li>Social Science Division Offices: N216<\/li>\n<li>Faculty Commons: House 1, next to KBCS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please follow posted signs and use caution near construction areas.
