Are you a hiring manager? If you answered yes to any of these questions, register today for required screening committee training.<\/p>\n Bellevue College requires all employees serving on screening committees to complete mandatory training before participating in the hiring process. This requirement applies to hiring managers, program chairs, screening committee chairs, bias mitigation advocates and all committee members.<\/p>\n Employees must complete both required trainings before serving on a screening committee.<\/p>\n Required Trainings<\/strong><\/p>\n Recruiting and Selecting Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n This training provides foundational guidance for conducting fair, impartial and equitable recruitment processes. Participants will review hiring resources and procedures from the Office of Human Resources.<\/p>\n Summer Quarter<\/strong> Fairness and Equal Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n This training focuses on minimizing bias, ensuring compliance with college policies and applying equitable hiring practices. The session is presented in collaboration with the Office of Community Care and Institutional Transformation and the Office of Human Resources.<\/p>\n Summer Quarter<\/strong> Use this link to register online.<\/a><\/p>\n Bias Mitigation Advocate Training<\/strong><\/p>\n Prerequisite: Completion of both required trainings<\/em><\/p>\n This training prepares participants to recognize and address potential bias during recruitment processes.
