Mass Casualty Incident Simulation Planned for June 12<\/strong><\/p>\n On Friday, June 12, from 8 AM-5 PM, Bellevue College’s Nursing program will conduct its annual Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) simulation. This immersive training exercise provides nursing students with a realistic emergency response experience designed to strengthen trauma management, critical thinking and teamwork skills.<\/p>\n The simulation will feature volunteer actors, law enforcement personnel and special effects to create a realistic emergency scenario. Students will apply emergency room trauma management techniques in a fast-paced environment that mirrors real-world conditions.<\/p>\n As part of the event, the King County Sheriff’s Office will provide Stop the Bleed training, equipping students with life-saving skills that can be used in emergency situations.<\/p>\n This hands-on educational experience helps prepare future health care professionals to deliver high-quality patient care during emergencies.<\/p>\n Please note:<\/strong> Police vehicles and uniformed officers will be on campus throughout the day as part of this scheduled training exercise.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The nursing program will be running its MCI Simulation for nursing students this Friday.
