The Faculty Council plays a vital role in shared governance at Bellevue College. The council initiates, researches, and builds consensus<\/strong> on key institutional matters, including policies and procedures, strategic planning, and issues of college-wide importance. It also holds primary responsibility for curriculum oversight, faculty professional development, and student assessment<\/strong>, ensuring that academic standards and practices remain aligned with the college\u2019s mission and goals.<\/p>\n
