This week\u2019s lineup includes the Earth Market, a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) box pickup, EcoPoetry, a data center talk, Costa Rica student stories, Habitat Restoration, and Yoga Flow. Events offer opportunities to learn, connect, and take part in activities that support environmental awareness and action.<\/p>\n

Earth Month Finale Week Brings Sustainability, Wellness and Community Events<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bellevue College invites students, faculty and staff to take part in the final week of Earth Month, featuring a series of events that highlight sustainability, wellness and community engagement.<\/p>\n

Monday, April 28<\/strong>
Kick off the week with a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) box pickup, offering fresh, seasonal produce sourced from local farms and subsidized by the Student Environmental Sustainability Fund (SESF).<\/p>\n

Later that day, speaker Neal Anderson will present on the rise of data center construction in Washington state, including impacts on energy and water resources and recent legislative responses.<\/p>\n

The EcoPoetry Workshop, themed \u201cThe Peace of Wild Things,\u201d will provide a reflective space for participants to connect with nature through guided writing prompts. No prior experience is required.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, April 29<\/strong>
The annual Earth Market returns, featuring local organizations, student clubs and Bellevue College departments, along with locally crafted goods, honey, flowers and more.<\/p>\n

Also on April 29, students from the Costa Rica Experience will share insights from their Spring Break 2026 trip, exploring how sustainable wellness practices can be applied within the campus community.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, April 30<\/strong>
Close out Earth Month with a Habitat Restoration volunteer event, offering an opportunity to support the campus ecosystem by removing invasive plants.<\/p>\n

The week concludes with a Yoga Flow session, designed to promote relaxation and connection through movement and breath.<\/p>\n
