Nursing Program to Host Mass Casualty Incident Simulation<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s that time of year again. On Friday, March 20, from 8 AM\u20135 PM, the Bellevue College Nursing Program will host its annual mass casualty incident (MCI) simulation for nursing students.<\/p>\n The simulation creates a realistic emergency response environment using actors, real police officers, and cinematic special effects. Students will apply emergency room trauma management skills in a high-intensity training scenario designed to prepare them for real-world situations.<\/p>\n The event will also include Stop the Bleed training led by the King County Sheriff\u2019s Office. This hands-on training helps strengthen students\u2019 life-saving skills while reinforcing teamwork and practical experience. Through this immersive educational experience, future health care professionals will gain valuable preparation for providing quality patient care.<\/p>\n Please note that police vehicles will be present on campus during the simulation.
