On Friday, May 26 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., the nursing program will be running a mass casualty simulation for nursing and allied health students. Live actors, real police officers and cinematic special effects will be on campus.

On Friday, May 26 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., the nursing program will be running a mass casualty simulation for nursing and allied health students. Live actors, real police officers and cinematic special effects will be on campus to create a realistic environment. Emergency room trauma management skills will be put to the test.<\/p>\n

Stop the Blood Training, will be run by the King County Sheriff’s Department. Contact Jesse Herrera at 206-571-1925 for more information.<\/p>\n

This training will enhance students\u2019 life-saving abilities. This educational experience strengthens teamwork and practical skills, and future healthcare professionals will emerge better equipped to provide quality care.<\/p>\n

For this simulation, volunteer acting roles are all filled, but if you would like to join the next mass casualty simulation in August 2023 as a volunteer actor, please reach out to April Ambalina at april.ambalina@bellevuecollege.edu<\/a>. Thanks.<\/p>\n
