Here’s the lineup of what\u2019s happening. Don\u2019t forget to sign up as some space is limited.<\/p>\n
All in-person sessions will have raffles for prizes like a kombucha kit, sourdough bread tool kit, boba tea making kit, custom earth week travel mug, stickers, green cleaning kits, and more!<\/p>\n
– CSA Produce Boxes \u2013 available by advance reservation<\/a> and for on-site purchase; $20 for 10 different types of organic fruits and veggies!<\/p>\n – Earth Week Market \u2013 Local businesses selling honey, baked goods, flowers, soaps and body products, vinegars and oils, dog treats, and more! We\u2019ll also be joined by organizations from Bellevue, King County, and beyond, including: Citizens Climate Lobby, El Centro de la Raza, Environment Washington, Issaquah Fish Hatchery, People for Climate Action, Puget Sound Mycological Society, Spark Northwest, Washington Wild, and Zero Waste Washington. Learn about the work they do and how to get involved!<\/p>\n – Plant Start Giveaway – Start your garden with plant starts harvested from seeds right here on campus by BC\u2019s Grounds Crew. Choose from ninebark, Casa Blanca white oriental lilies, and red raspberry seedlings. Plants are first, come first served!<\/p>\n – Composting Workshop with Cedar Grove – Learn how Cedar Grove turns your food waste into nutrient-rich compost!<\/p>\n – Greener Living: Ways You Can Protect Our Planet \u2013 Join the City of Bellevue for this workshop on how to reduce food waste and single use plastics along with other daily action items to reduce your impact. Receive tools and a green cleaning kit! Reserve a spot<\/a>.<\/p>\n – Creating Sustainable Communities with Land Use Advocacy \u2013 Join Futurewise and Complete Streets Bellevue to explore the ways environmental issues like climate change and conservation intersect with land use, planning, and growth.<\/p>\n – Meet Bellevue\u2019s Wild Park Spaces \u2013 Discover the wild nearby with a Bellevue park ranger, learning about amazing locations in the Bellevue Parks & Open Space System.<\/p>\n – Visualizing Washington\u2019s Geology \u2013 Join cartographer Dan Coe as he shares how the Washington Geological Survey tells the story of our State.
