Students are invited to attend \u201cBlack Hockey History Night\u201d at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday, Feb. 18.

BC Leadership Institute and Umoja Scholars Program invite students to attend \u201cBlack Hockey History Night\u201d at Climate Pledge Arena on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023. The Seattle Kraken will compete against Detroit Red Wings.<\/p>\n

The purpose of \u201cBlack Hockey History Night\u201d is to acknowledge Black achievements in the sport and initiatives to make hockey more inclusive. The Kraken has made it a top priority since the team\u2019s inception to celebrate diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n

Attendees will depart from BC at 6:00pm. The game starts at 7:30pm. Roundtrip transportation will be provided to and from Climate Pledge Arena, but attendees are responsible for paying for concessions and souvenirs.<\/p>\n

Tickets are limited, so register<\/a> fast.\u00a0 Registration deadline is Feb. 6, 2023.<\/p>\n
