HS+ Graduation Pathway Waiver

Please confirm that you have worked with the High School Plus (HS+) Navigator to explore the below Graduation Pathway Alternative Requirement Options and that attempting them would create a significant barrier to your educational/career goals.
1. State Assessment: Meet or exceed required graduation scores in Smarter Balanced Assessments for Math and English, OR, in Washington Access to Instruction & Measurement testing.
2. Dual Credit: Earn one high school credit in both English and Math in dual credit courses in the Running Start, College in the High School, and/or Career and Technical Education programs.
3. AP/IB/Cambridge: Earn a 3 or higher on certain Advanced Placement testing in English and Math, OR, earn a 4 or high on certain International Baccalaureate exams, OR, an E on certain Cambridge International exams, OR, pass the course with a C+ or higher.
4. SAT/ACT: Meet or exceed required graduation scores in Math and English portions of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Testing (ACT).
5. Transition Course: Pass a transition course in Math and English (such as a Bridge to College course).
6. Performance Based: A student oriented customized project that proves that the student meets or exceeds state learning standards in Math and English.
7. ASVAB: Meeting the minimum required score on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) required for entrance into the armed services (though actual enlistment into the military is not required as a result of taking this test).
8. CTE sequence: Complete a sequence of Career and Technical Education courses.
9. Combination: The student is able to use a combination of methods 1-5 to complete the requirements for Math and English separately.
